I don’t see the big deal. It’s extremely okay. Not great but not horrible. There’s no real depth to it, sure being on drugs is fun and depressing but I don’t think the guy portrays either side well enough to consider this album great. If there’s anyone who thinks they can make me a believer, please feel free to try. I’d like to like this project lol

Childish Gambino’s Camp got a 1.6 out of 10 (mind you, he had a line in the album that went, “Pitchfork only like rappers that are crazy or hood man”)
Frank Ocean’s Nostalgia.Ultra got a 7.8/10
Danny Brown is the best rapper out right now (because you talk about drugs for half of your album then have one song where you say its genetic doesn’t make it worthwhile, doesn’t redeem you, and doesn’t make you a genius. He okay though just not that good).
I feel like they’re abusing their power. A lot of people depend on reviews to help them pick new music to listen to so that they don’t waste their time. I’m just glad Illmatic came out before these guys were around.
